What is so unique about Fox Puzzles of London?

Fox Puzzles of London are unique because our innovative manufacturing recipe takes Melanie’s rhythmic surface pattern designs and turns a puzzle into a creative piece of art.

Our beautiful individualistic shapes and colourful puzzles bring many benefits to all ages. Young, old and to all the family.

Children:  Fox Puzzles of London help to improve children’s spatial ability, curiosity, problem solving capabilities, hand and eye co-ordination and object, rhythm and pattern recognition.

Elderly:  Fox Puzzles of London help to sharpen memory and improve  brain function and fitness.

The MacArthur Study found that elderly people who do jigsaw puzzles stood to gain a longer life span and also lesser chances of falling prey to Alzheimer’s, memory loss, dementia and other old age problems.

Family:  Doing a puzzle with a friend or family member also allows for the growth of social skills as the family work together and communicate about what fits where.

Who invented the jigsaw puzzle?

Jigsaw puzzles were originally created by painting a picture on a flat, rectangular piece of wood, and then cutting that picture into small pieces with a jigsaw, hence the name. 'John Spilsbury', a London cartographer and engraver, is credited with commercializing jigsaw puzzles around 1760.
